Post Production

For Trimester 5 we have to work on post production as one of the main part of the projects. The main difference for this trimester is we have to work on actual projects come from film students from SAE. Last trimester we work on short video clip creating folies and try to sound exactly like the scenes from film. This trimester we are working on new video so we have more freedom working on the project.

The main thing I learn for post production from this trimester is using S6 for Post and more detail with mixing on post production. Normally I work on music production but the way we treat on music mixing and post is really different. Post is more about just correct the details and finish everything quickly and make fast decision. It don’t have too much time to think for a few particular seconds and need to sort it as quickly as possible and the audio need to be smooth realistic and in good quality.

I worked on Average Joe for post production. It was pretty interesting that the work flow taught by Tristan is pretty simple, fast and efficient. And also I got feedback from Tristan for the mix down I did with others and that give me a bit more confidence to work on post production. Also creating the sounds and dialogue we want to put in the video was fun. Overall it was a good experience and give me more experience to work in different field.
