Live Sound And Challanges (Week 6)

One of the biggest challenges in live sound for me doing setting up PAs and routing correct signals to them. Because in live sound setting up system is different from other things we learned in audio. Everything need to be done in step by step and need to make sure and know what we are doing otherwise it will blown up the speakers. Routing signal is a big challenge for me. Because I love learning how the signal flow works and try to play around with it. For live song we need to send the right signal to the right person’s monitor. So there’s a lot of preparation to do. Since we are using Avid S3 desk the signal flow is quite similar to ProTools. But Live sound is all about doing everything according to the steps we have to do and make sure we are doing everything step by step and everything go well. In this is week it is also a good practice we have to work on an actual plan and do the job which is more realistic. I really love learning live sound because it gives me new experience and also make me more focus on whatever I’m doing and be more careful.
