Sampling means taking a portion or a sample of recorded sound and reusing it as an instrument or put it in a different piece of music. But yes when someone creates a piece of music a whole system of legal rights need to be concerned. So it is also important to know that in order to sample someone else’s song we need permission from both the owner of the sound recording (music label, record company or artist).

As a good example of sampling I want to show a track named Giuseppe Ottaviani - Crossing Lights. in this track Italian producer use the sound that most of the Australians were heard every single day the pedestrian crossings sound. The sound that came out from Crossing Lights in Australia combine with classic techno production and it comes out “Crossing Lights” track.
