Sound A Like Finalize

After finishing a song a like track then comparing with the original track I really satisfy with the results but still yes there are some room to improved to get better result.

The best part we did is for drums. It’s sound almost exactly like the original track with the right groove and thanks to Geen for it. It was a really good start.

We need to give more time for recording vocals, electric guitar and also for mixdown. We didn’t plan out really well and everything was in rush. So if we can get more takes it will be more

The electric guitar in the original feels more cleaner and warmer than what we did in sound a like track. I found there’s a noticeable difference between original and sound a like version. Our sound is with a bit more distortion and dirtier. Also there should be two electric guitars but we only done one and sound is not as thick as the original one.

The vocals are also wrong in some parts. The problem is we don’t arrange the session properly to record vocal with certain amount of time. If we had time to do more takes it will be really good. But the vocalist sound is really good and he made some points and also in some part he didn’t get the pitch as exactly from the original track.

I’m really happy with the outcome and also the mixdown also gone great and the track sounds good for overall. I also have fun sessions and good time doing sound a like project.
